With our partners, you will drive the effort to evolve our digital publishing platforms to deliver the best customer shopping experience for Apple's online customers. You will be gathering business requirements with business users, and writing detailed requirement documentation through your analysis work: business use cases and user stories, data analysis, current and "to be" process maps. Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis and/or project management skills coordinating various projects simultaneously with business partners from requirements definition to UAT planning and execution
  • Industry knowledge of eCommerce ecosystems with extensive experience in content management and product information systems
  • Excellent fundamental business analysis skills with 8+ years of experience eliciting, analyzing, prioritizing, documenting, and driving business requirements definition and presenting requirements:
  • -- Ability to dive into the details of each requirement yet see the big picture, draw inferences from process details, and demonstrate why proposed processes will work and how to apply them to operational improvement
  • -- Ability to structure a large amount of information into detailed business requirements documentation by applying analysis methodologies and using documentation tools: process flows, data analysis, business use cases and user stories
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity where things constantly change, and bring order
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across functional and worldwide audiences of different backgrounds (technical and non-technical) at various levels
  • Ability to build relationships, bridge communication gaps, negotiate scopes, handle changes well, resolve conflicts, and influence partners to reach agreements


Description

This is a hands-on position. You will be rolling up your sleeves and diving deep into the complex world of Digital Content Management. You will work with Digital Content Specialists to understand the digital publishing process and work to develop creative solutions alongside Product and technology teams through the project phases to promote quality, scalability, and process improvement. THIS INVOLVES: - Leading multiple projects simultaneously through software development cycles: Agile, waterfall or hybrid. - Knowing your Digital Content Specialists and applying your process analysis and analytical skills to gain in-depth knowledge of digital publishing applications and processes - Understanding the businesses asks for new features and functionality, articulating business requirements to Product and technology teams who will design and build the solutions - Driving requirements that promote best-in-class processes and systems with intuitive UI to enable Specialists to support the business goals: --- Conducting workshops for requirement gathering with cross-functional teams --- Prioritizing request, arranging scopes, providing insightful feedback, influencing solutions, and resolving conflicts throughout project phases, i.e. ideation, design, gap analysis, demo and hands on testing phases --- Owning and producing requirement documents that translate business asks into detailed analysis to design and build solutions for: business process flows (As-Is and To-Be), data maps, use cases, and users stories - Leading user acceptance test from planning for UAT, defining test scenarios and test cases to executing UAT - Building strong relationship with our business and Technology teams, i.e. Digital Content Management, Product Management, Engineering development, QA and support teams - Communicating effectively to worldwide teams and senior management regarding scopes, risks/benefits of solution options - Managing business team's adoption of these tools and processes through readiness planning, documentation, training, and support - You are: smart, articulate, organized, self-directed, process and details oriented, and passionate about information management - You can: listen, evangelize smart solutions and processes, build consensus among varying teams, write and own documentation, bridge communication between technical and business teams - You know: Web technologies & web production, E-commerce, content management and product information management applications, principles of content and product data structure/metadata

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree required MS, MBA considered a plus PMP, Lean/Six Sigma Certification a plus
