The applications team at Apple is looking for talented iOS App developers to join a small team of highly skilled engineers to build world class applications across all of Apple's platforms. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for building features for upcoming releases, prototyping new feature concepts, and making sure our users always have a great experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience with CoreML, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, or other Machine Learning libraries and tools
  • Strong grasp of Swift and/or Objective-C, or other object oriented programming languages
  • Ability to write performant and correct multi-threaded code
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail
  • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Description

The applications team is seeking a motivated and driven engineer to help develop features that positively impact the lives of all users by leveraging novel machine learning techniques. In our dynamic group, you'll have the rare and rewarding opportunity to help craft products that improve and enhance the lives of everyone who uses Apple products. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Throughout the process, you will work collaboratively with our world-class team of engineers, partner with designers, and coordinate with other teams at Apple including the iOS, macOS, and watchOS teams. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and communication skills to handle responsibilities including: • Implementing new features • Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition • Communicating ideas to the Apple design team and other cross functional teams • Participating in architecture and code reviews • Exploring new frameworks and technologies and how they can aid in implementing new features • Building internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software

Education & Experience

Masters or higher in Computer Science
