We are looking for a motivated individual who could lead the quality effort for our test team in San Diego. Successful candidate will work with development teams to proactively develop and drive overall test planning, execution and quality reporting for various areas of responsibility. The nature of the position requires the candidate to possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, along with a drive to make a difference. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, creative, motivated, and results driven.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands on QA experience
  • 2+ years experience in a team lead/manager role
  • 3+ Years of professional experience with Python, Ruby, Javascript or other scripting languages a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Database experience (mongoDB) preferred
  • Experience working with geographically remote teams


Description

Description You will be responsible for creating test plans, coming up with test strategies for multiple platforms. Build on existing automated test infrastructure and/or build new tools Work closely with developer teams to understand requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression testing Scope, develop, execute test plans and test cases for complex, highly scalable services Communicate detailed QE status to the multi-functional teams and report any blocking issues in a timely manner We are looking for a hardworking and passionate individual to join this amazing team.

Education & Experience

B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent M.S. is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • PLEASE NOTE: This position will be based in our San Diego location. Travel of up to 20% will also be required.
