The Text Recognition team is looking for an outstanding engineer to help develop its next generation of machine learning and computer vision solutions.

Key Qualifications

As a member of the team you will be responsible for bringing innovative ideas to our next generation of text recognition system. Our work typically involves utilizing very large quantities of data and state-of-the-art methods in deep learning to seek real world problems. We are seeking an engineer who will be responsible for prototyping new features as well as contributing to the overall design and development of existing components. An ideal candidate should have experience in computer vision, image processing, neural networks and other statistical pattern recognition systems. Object detection and image segmentation expertise as well familiarity with big data development is a plus.

Education & Experience

Ph.D. or MA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

Additional Requirements

  • - Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Objective-C or Swift programming
  • - Experience with Unix, iOS or macOS development
  • - Familiarity with deep learning toolkits
  • - Familiarity with performance analysis tools
  • - Exposure to scripting or prototyping languages
  • - Experience developing with OpenCV or similar toolkits
