We are seeking an electrical engineer to join our Engineering Team and work on revolutionary products. This is a design engineering position that entails working with cross- functional groups to continually open up the boundaries of technology implemented in Apple's products.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals
  • Experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation
  • Ability to understand and identify product tradeoffs (power, performance, etc.) and optimize designs to meet requirements
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems with focus on meeting tight constraints (i.e. power, size)
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power(DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, wireless systems, sensor design and integration.
  • Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams
  • Experience or strong interest in computer vision or object tracking is required

Description

Upon joining our team as a Hardware System Integrator, you will be directly applying your engineering expertise and working with many cross-functional teams to realize products that consumers will love! We collaborate with a large number of groups to bring a product from concept to mass production. • Our goal is to help define exciting product features that will touch our customers. Therefore you'll have the ability to solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, directing layout, and bringing up/ debugging circuits in the lab. • You will work along side partner teams to realize prototypes to aid in product definition and user testing. • You will have access to state of the art test equipment in labs to perform characterization of your circuits. You will also be able to define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of your designs. • Our team does occasionally travel domestically and oversees so that we are able to work alongside our manufacturing partners to ensure success of the product. This cross-functional role requires excellent interpersonal skills and proactive collaboration across multiple partner teams on a large project. You are curious minded, always seeking to learn while offering your expertise to teach and help others.

Education & Experience

Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 7+ years HW development engineering in a team environment

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,500 and $217,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
