We are currently seeking a Senior Content Design Producer to join the Apple Media Products Content Design Team. We are in a period of rapid development and it's a very exciting time to join this part of Apple Design Studios. This is an opportunity for the right individual to have a direct impact on a team that will help define the future of Content across Apple's core media products by partnering with design to drive thoughtful, strategic, and innovative content initiatives. This role will specifically support our Content Design Teams for App Store and Arcade. You will work closely with and support internal and external design teams that lead everything from strategic branding, editorially driven, content led, and large scale production initiatives. The assets that we ingest and/or create span across photography, motion, typography, illustration, and we are looking for someone with outstanding skills working across all mediums. Specifically, you will have practical experience working with Photo Teams, Art Buying Teams, Motion Graphics, illustration, branding, and live action. You should have a point of view on the different subject areas and which types of individuals and partners we should engage with, in order to enable the design teams to create extraordinary designs and systems. You might be a great fit if you have demonstrated experience as a Producer and/or Project Manager leading and overseeing content design projects including defining and crafting clear scopes of work, timelines, deliverables, and communications. The right candidate will have experience leading content production teams with an innate ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, deliver on time, communicate clearly, and relentlessly uphold our creative vision. Prior experience in Apps, mobile gaming, and editorial industries are a plus. This position will be based out of our Cupertino Studio and will integrate closely with the other Producer and Design Leads in our US Offices.
- Shown experience (+10 YOE) acting as a lead design producer in a creative design agency, or internal brand creative team.
- Expert knowledge of editorial content creation and production process.
- Ability to live between ten thousand feet and thirty thousand feet to not only fulfill against daily needs, but to think more holistically about opportunities for efficiency and team structure.
- Established network of extraordinary creative, branding, production, photography, illustration, and freelance agency partners.
- Demonstrated experience (+7 YOE) leading multiple vendor relationships and defining a partner roster.
- Demonstrated leadership (+7 YOE) for a team of Creative Producers and Project Managers.
- Experience articulating creative intent to others and proactively organizing partners to bring ideas to life.
- Deep familiarity and passion for Apps and Mobile Gaming is a plus.
You will lead end-to-end content creation and production processes across the App Store and Arcade Content Products. More specifically, you will: - Lead and manage all communications and workflows, ensuring that our design teams have all of the information we need, at the right times in the process, to effectively scope and execute against the assigned projects. - Effectively manage and clearly communicate overall project timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs. - Act as central point of contact for all of yours and your team's projects. You know exactly what is happening, when, why, and have a clear plan on how. - Navigate challenging priorities, prioritize appropriately, and mitigate associated challenges. - Coordinate projects to eliminate time-sensitive bottlenecks and produce high-quality creative expediently. - Handle day-to-day critical issues and troubleshooting of production challenges. - Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver against asks while creating an environment that allows for innovation. - Partner closely with teams to identify more efficient workflows. - Independently handle budgets and agency relationships. - Build relationships with your Editorial and Business counterparts to ensure that teams processes are defined, streamlined, and that the appropriate teams are clear on accountability for success. - Thrive in ambiguity, always looking for opportunities to better organize and define scope and next steps.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
