Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it! Apple Media Products (AMP) includes all of the teams who work on Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV, and more. Siri and other voice interfaces are an increasingly important part of how our customers browse, play, and discover the media they love. As a member of the AMP Voice team, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with our Engineering, Editorial, Design, and Operations teams to ensure a premier voice experience for all AMP services. We're looking for a strong Program Manager to join our ranks and help us evolve our strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, find opportunities for new internal tools, develop automated tests, and conduct industry outreach and competitive analysis.
- 4+ years experience in the digital media or technology industry
- Prior experience working on voice assistants is strongly preferred
- Expert understanding of the digital media space and the challenges inherent to media metadata, particular as it pertains to voice interfaces
- Project or program management experience including working very cross-functionally
- Strong combination of technical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience leading multiple ongoing projects in a very dynamic environment
Work collaboratively and cross functionally with AMP and Siri Engineering, Editorial, Design, Program, and Product teams to drive and ship new products and features Educate Engineering teams on the data model and data feeds for AMP services and prioritize data feed improvements Work with AMP and Siri Analytics teams to determine reporting and analysis required to measure success and deliver business reviews to executive leadership Define and develop automated tests to ensure feature coverage and prevent regressions Coordinate with Editorial teams around the world to ensure excellent voice support for featured content internationally Define the requirements and partner with Engineering on the development of new internal tools and data pipelines Very strong cross-functional communication, presentation, and influencing skills are critical for success in this role. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
