As a Product Marketing Manager at Apple, you will serve as the customer voice during product development working with incredible teams, and also create the launch story and speak to media about why your products matter. You'll apply your judgement and customer insights to help infuse ideas for groundbreaking features into our product-development process. In doing so, you'll collaborate with a wide range of teams that may include Industrial Design, Human Interfaces, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Sales and Marketing Communications. Together, we will guide a product vision from a fragile idea to the world-class product our customers expect from Apple. Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management with at least one entire product development cycle from concept to introduction.
  • Prior experience in a creative, technical, design or product development role - experience with software development or creative pursuits like photography or video editing is a plus.
  • Experience with and ability to synthesize technologies into product communication for a broad audience including pro customers, media, analysts, and industry experts.
  • Previous success in cross-functional collaboration and management by influence.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in running multiple complex programs at the same time.


Description

Apple is looking for a dynamic, creative and highly motivated worldwide Product Manager to join the Mac Product Marketing team. In this role, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, feature definition, product positioning and key messages for your products. You will work with a global cross-functional team to define Mac hardware and software features. You will partner with engineering, operations, finance and marketing communications, through the complete product development cycle from product concept to end of life. You will also: - Understand in-depth product technologies and be the expert on the competitive landscape. - Negotiate and influence product tradeoffs with cross-functional partners. - Evaluate new technologies and user feedback to integrate key insights into future product development. - Craft compelling end-user messaging for the highest impact. - Launch products worldwide in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations and events teams.

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree. MBA or equivalent preferred.
