We are looking for a Procedural Audio Engineer to develop next generation audio synthesis algorithms. You will work closely with the audio teams from across our company to guide the future of Apple's procedural audio technology and experience across our products.

Key Qualifications

  • You have a deep understanding of audio, acoustics, physics, and procedural audio
  • Excellent C/C++ coding skills
  • Experience designing and implementing procedural audio software
  • Experience with audio DSP programming in a framework such as Max/Faust/PureData
  • It is ideal that you have experience with Swift / Objective-C
  • You have professional use and an understanding of how to run DAW software such as Logic, ProTools, REAPER, etc.
  • You have working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and MATLAB
  • Experience writing audio plugins for Unity3D, Unreal Engine, FMOD, Wwise, or other game audio engines
  • Experience with audio DSP programming in a framework such as Max/Faust/PureData
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and experience with executive presentations
  • Lastly, you have experience writing digital audio workstation software Experience with procedural audio

Education & Experience

BA, MS or PhD - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
