Data drives decisions, and decisions drive results. Apple Retail is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the Retail Market Development Reporting Team. The team is tasked with enabling comprehensive commercial performance and opportunity views across all Retail Market Development programs ("ways to buy") including Trade In, iPhone Upgrade Program, Carrier payments, monthly payments and customer segments (consumer, SMB, education). The team is also responsible for maintaining and continually improving Retail's overall reporting scorecard, monitoring market share across line of business and market trends. The position will work with a large number of cross functional teams in Global Retail Support as well as sales leaders across all worldwide regions. The role requires a thorough understanding of reporting tools, Apple core data systems, and Finance systems.

Key Qualifications

  • Develop worldwide standards for Retail commercial sales performance and KPI reporting
  • Drive evolution of reporting scorecards, dashboards and associated tools
  • Build and deploy net new reporting solutions with significant automation to create scale
  • Manage high performing team of analysts with global locations
  • Support executive-facing presentations for the Retail Leadership Team (RLT) and Apple's Executive Team
  • Maintain key cross-functional partnerships - e.g. Retail Analytics, Retail Finance, WW Product Marketing Finance, Sales Finance, Retail Commerce and Digital Experience Team


Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant industry experience Very strong technical skills, including excel, Tableau, R programming, SQL Excellent partnership and relationship development skills An aptitude to quantify and support conclusions with analytic data Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional environment Attention to detail and ability to manage complex processes comfortably Strong management skills - ability to create a climate in which people want to do their best work; can motivate many kinds of direct reports and project team members Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines. Strong presentation skills in formal and informal settings

Education & Experience

BA required / MBA preferred or equivalent industry experience
