Apple's Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the media, graphics, and audio software foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, to Apple TV, iTunes, Beats, and Apple Music. As a key link between developers and our hardware, IMG drives the development of display, graphics drivers and higher layers of software stack.Apple is looking for an experienced, upbeat, and nimble project manager to lead the Team for Display and GPU driver development for leading Apple products.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership on major, cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand technical concepts in a wide range of fields
  • Demonstrated ability to provide succinct, accurate executive summaries of complicated situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Development experience in Display or Graphics drivers
  • Understanding simulation / emulation technologies and software development methodology in Pre Silicon environment
  • 5+ years of Engineering Management/Project Management experience


Description

As the Display and Graphics Engineering Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to identifying new HW capabilities and map to software features, providing regular executive level project updates, risks, and mitigation plans. You will aligning multi-functional schedules within and outside of Apple, and identify and fix gaps while maintaining and influencing a multi-year roadmap of HW/SW plans. You will also develop high-quality training and documentation to ease and support further Metal adoption. Scoping and scheduling work for upcoming releases and driving software features development with engineering team, tracking bugs and maintaining schedule to meet project achievements

Education & Experience

BS/MS (EE/CS/CE a plus)
