We are seeking an experienced payments and consumer cards risk specialist, to help drive and support the evolution of the business, working in lockstep with internal and external business partners. Fraud analysts deliver the right feature at the right time. They also have a deep background in fraud prevention, and will have experience in one of many different verticals: digital e-commerce, fraud detection and prevention, credit issuance or loss forecasting. It's a hands-on, cross-functional, highly-engaged job. A good Fraud Analyst is key to the success of the team and products.

Key Qualifications

  • Singular focus on customer experience and a validated experience in payments and financing
  • Strong experience in credit card operations and functions, including servicing channels, business analytics and operational health
  • Hands-on experience building or delivering client software, web and internet services
  • Strong sense of empathy for external partners you are supporting
  • Experience developing or delivering payment processing, authentication, anti-fraud, and machine learning solutions
  • Strong technical proficiency, fierce attention to details, relentless at follow-up and demanding of quality
  • International product development experience a plus
  • Experienced in setting up project timeline and work breakdown structures
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management and collaboration tools
  • Work with internal partners to further improve product experiences that lead to better servicing outcomes
  • Build the Apple culture within risk operations and supporting organizations
  • Adept at identifying developing risk or fraud trends and quickly developing solutions to mitigate
  • Aptitude for driving methodical improvements using qualitative and quantitative data to advise solutions
  • Able to identify root cause of problems, and identify, propose, and recommend innovative solutions to diverse partners
  • Consistent record of operating autonomously across multiple teams and in matrix organization
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Collaborative, flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
  • Experience working with data and techniques to perform probability, link & ad-hoc analyses to improve a business


Description

In this role, it is essential that you develop a strong working relationship with each of your partners. You should be an excellent communicator who is self-motivated and is comfortable working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment. You will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups as well as with external partners, to improve the quality of our services and efficiency and scalability of our operations. Drive all aspects of the software development process: define requirements, scope work, develop a plan, generate a schedule, craft a team, execute, and ship. Work cross-functionally across Apple to use the collective skills and intelligence of our people. Work closely with legal, privacy and security teams to design and implement awesome solutions. Connect with every level of our organization, from individual contributors to executives. Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Master's or MBA a plus

Additional Requirements

  • - High degree of proficiency with Excel and Keynote
  • - Experience in SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Tableau and Python
