The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. The Camera Electronics team develops image sensor and other silicon solutions and technologies for Apple's products, including the iPhone, iPad, MacBooks, and more. The key goal of the team is to enable the world's best camera experience for our customers. New challenges arise every day that require the sharp analytical skills of talented and smart individuals. The team is looking for an exceptional FPGA Design engineer to join the team.
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- You will have a strong background/experience in RTL design for FPGA
- Have held lead-design or architect roles covering system design/architecture.
- Design experience covering contributions in:
- Silicon bring-up, characterization and debug
- High-speed serial I/O
- Image/Pixel Processing algorithm development and RTL implementation
- System level design - HW/FW/SW/OPTO/MECH
- Familiar with image sensor performance metrics, image sensor usage and integration into camera systems.
- Experience with other sensing technologies a plus.
- Some travel may be necessary
Advance and drive development of next generation image sensor evaluation and prototyping platforms. Develop and prototype camera control, transport and processing concepts as guidance to product silicon development Support next gen sensor/camera HW characterization and evaluation. Assist with technical user documentation
Education & Experience
BS EE/CE - MS or PhD preferred
