Engineering Program Manager, Siri Attention and Invocation

The Siri team is looking for an Engineering Program Manager to help us build the next generation of Siri. This role will be focused on Siri Attention and Invocation and the next revolution of Siri interaction.

As a member of our organization, you will lead teams crafting future products that will delight, inspire, and empower millions of people to leverage the power of AI.

Description

In this role, you will drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in Siri across Apple products. You will partner with engineering teams to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery. You'll collaborate with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and scientists across technical areas spanning the full range of Siri's capabilities.

You should bring experience in software development, machine learning, and project management, strong communication and leadership skills, and a track record of driving and delivering complex projects. You should demonstrate high integrity and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.

As an experienced project leader for various complex and at times highly ambiguous technical projects, you will need to build strong collaborative relationships within the organization, as well as cross-functionally, and confidently and calmly manage any conflicts and challenges along the way. You will be responsible for driving execution, with a keen eye for important details, and communicating status and risks clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity or prior experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning

Prior hands-on experience in software development or model development

Curiosity and passion for new technologies and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of project management in software development, machine learning or related industry experience

Prior experience and consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously

Experience driving and delivering critical project features that involve integration with multiple different teams

Solid knowledge of software development practices

Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters

Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal

Experience working cross functionally at different seniority levels
