Our Retail Marketing team is looking for a Creative Director for our rapidly evolving Field Engagement and Communications team to support Apple Retail. You will join us at a time when we are designing the future of how we communicate and connect with our Retail Stores, Contact Center, and Global Retail Support employees around the world. The Field Engagement and Communications group is leading the way for how we motivate and message to our 70,000+ hardworking store team members across 500+ stores. From daily content to dynamic events, our group helps equip our Field teams with not just the information to do their job, but the inspiration to deliver exceptional service and experiences for our customers.

Key Qualifications

  • 15-20+ years experience creating communications, (a writing background) working in a brand consultancy, advertising agency, PR, or in-house creative environment
  • Broad background in partnering with art directors, designers and leading copy that spans digital, retail and video work. You can confidently creatively direct all these different types of workflows and present work at the executive level
  • A demonstrated curiosity and passion for the retail experience, design, written and rich media communications, and deep understanding of how to use each to achieve communication goals
  • Deep experience managing, inspiring, mentoring and building teams, and knowledge of the processes that deliver the highest-quality creative work
  • The ability to excel at both a strategic and executional level
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change
  • Experience working with international peers to define global creative communication strategies for the businesses you support
  • You have a diverse portfolio of creative writing samples

You have a passion for connecting and engaging with teams around the world, crafting content and messaging that resonates and delights store teams, and gets results for the business. As a key member of the Field Engagement/Communications leadership team, the Creative Director will partner with design, strategy and Retail Marketing leadership to execute the right strategy, content and story to reach our store employees around the globe. You have a strong writing background, and the skills to work across and communicate with a complex matrix of partners in different mediums. You flourish in Apple's collaborative culture and are surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields. Beyond creative direction, you are a proven leader, effective communicator and exceptional motivator. You're passionate about nurturing relationships and use that rapport to align teams around a vision. You smile in the face of deadlines and you revel in flawless execution.
