Now there are more than two million. And so we challenged ourselves: How can we offer more perspective and insight? How do we showcase the work of creative developers? How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day? We're hiring people who want to help make that happen. The App Store is seeking an editor to help drive the content strategy for programming across the Today, Games, Apps, and Arcade tabs, optimizing the US editorial calendar for relevance and performance, and developing new initiatives and programs that can scale globally. You are uncompromising when it comes to the customer experience, with a genuine love for data-informed decision making and a proven track record in increasing user engagement across varied platforms. You work quickly and independently, connect well with colleagues across disciplines and time zones, and innovate down to the details. You possess a true passion for Apple and the products it makes, as well as uncovering (and in some cases, launching) the next big trends in app culture and expanding into new coverage areas.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years creating content for an online publication or commerce website
  • Extensive experience using data to craft high-level performance analysis and content insights
  • Experience working with content management systems and A/B testing platforms
  • Experience with search engine optimization for editorial content
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to spearhead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Shown ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams under strict deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Resourceful, creative, and collaborative
  • Deep passion for the Apple brand, Apple products, and mobile technology


- Create regular reports for the App Store, providing high-level performance analysis and insights, as well as the results of US-led growth and optimization strategies, to the broader editorial team - Create frameworks, templates, and processes that empower teams to optimize content and consistently drive growth on a recurring basis - Partner with Editorial Leadership on the development and implementation of global programs across Today, Games, Apps, and Arcade - Correspond with editors, designers, engineers and other cross-functional partners as an expert voice on story pitches, content packaging, display copy, and other elements tied to content strategy and editorial performance - Travel within the US and abroad for on-site editorial, as needed

Education & Experience
