Apple is looking for a multifaceted, highly motivated Business Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) Business Management and Finance team to support the product roadmaps. As the Business Manager, you will provide the financial lens to future product roadmap decisions, collaborate cross-functionally across various teams from Engineering to Sales, and have direct exposure to the highest levels of decision making at Apple. This person should have strong leadership skills, exceptional business / product acumen, strong analytical capabilities, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a deep interest in Apple's products, business, and strategy. The lean structure on Business Management fosters high business ownership and offers a unique platform to influence strategic decisions at Apple from product concept to launch.

Description

- Influence and drive business/product decisions for the Apple product-lines in cross-functional partnership with Product Marketing Managers, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Analytics, Sales and Market Research

- Advise on product pricing, feature arbitration and line-up decisions with business analyses considering units, revenue and margin implications by integrating a multitude of varied data sources

- Absorb and dissect sales trends, customer activations trends, buyer surveys, external market research and technical performance benchmarks to inform product and business strategy for Apple products

- Integrate various datasets to create, present, and defend demand forecasts, scenarios, and other business insights to senior leadership

- Support stealth investigations, special projects and ad-hoc requests for senior Apple leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Deep passion for Apple's products and mission

Ability to work comfortably under ambiguity to deliver fully developed and well-reasoned analyses

Strong and structured communicator

Ownership mindset and high agency to take a proactive role in leading project work-streams from end-to-end

Strong attention to detail and ability to 'see around corners'

High proficiency in Excel modeling, with strong competency (or aptitude to learn) R, SQL, Tableau, and Python

Adept at working cross-functionally and managing senior stakeholder relationships

Comfort navigating product or engineering topics with keen interest to ramp on new and un-familiar technical content

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role with frequent exposure to business case and scenario modeling

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or another quantitative field
