The Build & Integration team at Apple is at the core of the Apple software release process. We are responsible for delivering the state-of-the-art operating systems and applications to Apple customers. The B&I Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the delivery of Apple software to Apple customers. This includes securing software licenses to build Apple software, the archival/retrieval of source code for Apple's intellectual property review, and the posting of macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, Xcode, and more to Apple's customers.

Description
As a B&I Operations Specialist, responsibilities include: - Coordinate Apple software postings with the requesting EPM teams, Program Management Office, Software Delivery internal mechanism, and AppleCare - Maintain a schedule of known Apple software updates to be posted per EPM teams - Manage manual postings that need to occur prior to automation being implemented - Drive effort to automate processes for posting, and audit postings to confirm automation completed per specification - Coordinate with various engineering teams to move to a consistent process for posting Apple software, both from a posting and program management perspective - Manage B&I compliance in support of software build operations, including software license asset management and source archival A successful B&I Operations Specialist will be expected to: - Proactive communication of status to stakeholders and follow through on time-sensitive tasks - Demonstrate willingness to ask for clarification and context to understand the "big picture" - Find multiple solutions to a problem, evaluate tradeoffs, and decide the best approach - Document new processes or update existing documentation pages - Eager to learn about Apple software products and schedules
