The features we build are redefining how hundreds of millions of people use their computers and mobile devices to search and find what they are looking for. Siri's universal search engine powers search features across a variety of Apple products, including Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Messages and Lookup. As part of this group, you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments, with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day. We are looking specifically for a multi-role candidate, one who is comfortable improving the quality of our build tooling and delivering new features.

Key Qualifications

  • Expertise in Swift, iOS, macOS fundamentals and frameworks
  • Expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
  • Experience with Apple development tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a team
  • 3+ years experience in build engineering or related areas
  • 3+ years experience with multi-threading and crafting APIs in Swift


Description

As a member of the team you'll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling efficiency and analysis. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle responsibilities including: - Maintaining and improving iOS/macOS build pipelines for our projects - Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition - Communicating ideas to our design team and other multi-functional teams - Participating in architecture and code reviews - Build internal engineering tools

Education & Experience

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
