Partner Marketing Manager

Brief Description:

Working closely with Appian’s Partner Sales Team and reporting to the Director of Partner Marketing, the Partner Marketing Manager will be an experienced marketer responsible for supporting our partner management team and our Global Alliance and Technology Partners. The preferred candidate will develop, plan, and execute marketing plans and lead-generation programs to grow and accelerate sales pipeline and revenue for the channel. The role will work collaboratively with the channel sales teams and field marketing teams to drive campaigns to expand the Appian brand to, through, and with Appian Partners. A proven track record of helping build joint go-to-market strategies and experience working alongside a fast-moving global partnerships team is key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted campaign plans to support partner enablement, education, and co-marketing initiatives
  • Grow our brand within partner organizations to increase awareness and establish Appian as a priority partner
  • Promote campaign launch efforts to partners including collateral, communication strategy, training tools, and related activities
  • Plan and execute joint marketing programs and events with key partners
  • Develop and manage marketing assets needed to support partner programs in various channels including collateral, playbooks and video assets
  • Advocate effectively for partners and their needs throughout Appian

About You:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Campaign Management and/or Partner/Alliances Role in an enterprise software environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to define processes and build programs    
  • Passion and enthusiasm for emerging technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies
  • Experience crafting and executing results-driven marketing programs
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15%
