Who Are We Looking For?

As a Staff Product Manager, your goal is to develop and execute a unified and cohesive strategy to drive maximum growth across AppFolio’s Products and Services through Value Added Services Customer acquisition, usage, and retention. You will work directly with product development teams, internal stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/UX/Analytics) and segment leaders to ensure cross-functional buy-in of the strategy. You will bring an analytical perspective to evaluating trade-offs, customer/business value, and ROI.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and evangelize a 3-year roadmap to meet V+ growth goals
  • Prioritize opportunities across Value Added Services businesses according to effort, likelihood of success, and potential revenue impact.
  • Create a process for identifying, prioritizing, testing, and scaling growth opportunities.
  • Prioritize opportunities across Value Added Services businesses according to effort, likelihood of success, and potential revenue impact.
  • Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to test and iterate against opportunities with corresponding product teams. 
  • Communicate details, updates, and implementations across all stakeholders and teams with extreme attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership qualities & entrepreneurial mentality that can take something relatively undefined into something clear and focused
  • 5+ years product management experience in a product growth role
  • A technical background – significant hands-on experience building technology products is preferred
  • Experience as a clear and strategic communicator with leaders across the organization
  • Strong executor and driver across multiple fronts; self-starter, speed oriented, comfortable making decisions and running with them
  • Strong relationship-building skills; you are able to connect people across the organization and our customers.
  • Fast learner, ability to self-teach, and desire to grow
  • Team player - you do what’s necessary to make the team successful
