Job Description

We are a lean and entrepreneurial team. We own the whole software development lifecycle from concept to release. We are architects, engineers, QA analysts, and problem solvers. We believe in our product and work tirelessly to balance performance, quality, and time to ship.

We work across a multitude of stacks and tools including React, Redux, Node,js, PHP, Java, MySQL, Vertica, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ. We live in the cloud, from our legacy apps to new-and-shiny services custom built for AWS.

As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for architecting and developing rich user-facing applications and tools. We are looking for an experienced engineer who understands performance and is excited to own and execute projects from concept to deployment and beyond.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You are a skilled engineer who never shies away from a chance to learn something new, help a teammate, or make life better for the customer.

  • You understand Javascript, the good parts, the bad parts, and the weird parts.

  • You own your mistakes and always learn from them.

  • You have experience with modern Javascript development techniques and tools in the browser and on the server.

  • You are passionate about quality and understand why testing is important.

  • You have experience with systems that are reliable and perform under pressure. You understand that milliseconds count and you know how and when to count them.

  • You have significant experience with React and Redux and a deep understanding of the their architecture, interaction, and implementation.

  • You care about what you do and how you do it. You collaborate with honesty, work with integrity, and communicate with empathy.

  • You understand front-end architecture and development as well as how to test and profile complex Javascript user interfaces.

  • You are passionate about shipping software that makes a difference for your customers.
