We are looking for a UI Engineer who thrives at the crossroads of design and engineering. Responsibilities include translation of wireframes into working applications used to manage and monitor customer configurations at scale. You will work along side fellow UI engineers, core engineering, infrastructure teams and with product management team to bridge the gap between technical complexity and intuitive user experience. We are building a suite of modular, single page applications using modern technologies and tools including AngularJS, Node.JS and Bootstrap.
Develop new user-facing applications and features using Angular, Node.JS and Bootstrap
Build, refine and help maintain shared libraries, modules, patterns, and style guides
Work closely with core engineering and product stakeholders to ensure the success of projects beginning with the technical feasibility of designs, rapid prototyping and iteration, all the way through to testing and production integration
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Collaborate with API teams to identify data requirements and refine schemas
Maintain an on-going understanding of CDN operations and the impact the portal has on client and company goals
Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
Familiarity with pre-processors like as LESS, Sass etc
Demonstrated understanding of modern client-side libraries, frameworks, and tools, e.g.
AngularJS, Bootstrap, Node, Bower, Gulp/Grunt, etc.
Strong understanding of SPA architecture, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Working knowledge of Node.JS prefered
Strong understanding of version control systems, specifically Git & Github
Familiarity with client-side unit and e2e testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine and Protractor
