A Lot About You

We are looking for experienced software engineering managers to lead teams that analyze requirements; investigate optimal software solutions; architect, design, implement and test those solutions; and provide 24x7 support for our globally deployed data collection, handling, and reporting software that

  • is delivered within resource constraints (schedule, budget, staff)

  • is of high quality in terms of reliability, performance, operability and supportability

  • meet specified functional requirements

  • is data-oriented (database, data analysis, data communication, data analytics, data reporting etc.)

  • uses Unix or Linux systems

Your Day

As a manager on the Data Team at the Tel Aviv site you will have day-to-day management responsibilities for a team of five to fifteen engineers, each of whom

  • has a degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering pursuit. All of our engineers and managers have undergraduate degrees while others have graduate degrees, including many with doctorates

  • has strong knowledge of technology and product trends including knowledge of what is happening in Open Source and in other parts of the software development industry

  • has the ability to work with large-scale distributed systems, web services, or frontend tool sets

  • has solid written and verbal communication skills

  • has excellent problem solving and organizational skills

  • has great team-working capabilities in an agile development environment

  • has a passion to build great products, work with great people and change the world
