The Marketing Manager holds an exciting position dedicated to growing AOL’s brand perception as a leader and trusted advisor in the advertising space. He/She will create multi-channel marketing programs to differentiate AOL through engaging thought leadership content that reaches key advertiser, agency, and publisher audiences.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing marketing campaigns from end to end including messaging, concept ideation, content creation, distribution, and measurement.
Create and execute 360 marketing programs that elevate AOL as a leader in the advertising space
Manage multiple campaigns at once and project manage cross-functional teams including PR, Research, Creative, Production, Product Marketing, Social, Events, and Sales
Manage paid and organic distribution channels including email, social, search, and sponsored content
Develop messaging for research, infographics, video blog posts, bylines, etc.
Develop campaigns assets in partnership with Creative and Production teams
Report and analyze campaign results by channel and implement optimizations
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of demonstrable marketing experience, ideally from an advertising technology, agency, or publisher background.
Specialized knowledge of digital advertising
You are a self-starter who thinks creatively and out of the box. You hate following the same routine every day and love to come up with new and better ways of doing things.
You have analytical skills as well as creative skills and know how and when to use both.
You have excellent writing and communication abilities.
You take a results-driven approach to marketing with a keen sense of what makes a campaign a success.
You have an audience-first mindset and are driven to create campaigns that are valuable and engaging for the end user.
You are eager to collaborate with others and are comfortable navigating across departments and teams, often leading without formal authority.
- You are detail oriented and have effective project management skills.
