Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Revenue the Management Accountant is responsible for managing the UK business and ensuring revenue and cost of sales are accurately recorded and efficiently analysed.


  • Monthly revenue accruals, rebates and revenue recognition
  • Accruals and analysis of TAC and other cost of sales
  • Analysis and reconciliation of monthly revenue by regions and segments
  • Monthly revenue commentary
  • Management of Intercompany revenue reconciliations across products
  • Lead monthly meetings with billing to ensure aged accruals are invoiced
  • Monthly reporting with Regional Sales directors to reconcile operational data with monthly reporting packs
  • Point of contact for DMT, Billing and Sales functions
  • Point of contact for statutory audit of all revenue areas
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Co- ordinate with billing and ops teams to ensure aged accruals are invoiced
  • Liaise with Head of Trading for rebates
  • Play a large role in the sales commission process
  • Ad hoc reporting for sales team heads
  • Assist credit control with billing and credit note queries

  • Qualified accountant - CPA, ACCA , ACA, CIMA
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in a finance environment with exposure to revenue recognition and Intercompany reconciliations
  • Excellent communications and organization skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Must have strong revenue experience
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to use own initiative
  • A highly committed team player, very flexible, and able to work to tight deadlines

  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines

  • Experience with a US parent company a plus
