Job Description

This position is responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions IT integration activities relating to Verizon AOL Enterprise Services transactions globally. The qualified individual will analyze incoming M&A’s, possess a differentiated ability to recognize and comprehend competencies and transactions, present findings to management and implement action plans for due diligence and preferred routes of approach, with the ultimate goal of a successful transaction execution and integration. The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will construct and actively communicate with cross-functional teams in support of the diligence/investigation of prospective opportunities. The chosen individual must be able to demonstrate and deploy credible and strong organizational, modeling, analytic and conceptual skills while seeking to provide a strong understanding of fundamental business functions. Essential Job Functions

Works across verticals, to identify and provide strategic transactions in support of corporate strategy. Performs evaluations including analysis and impact to the business model as related to strategy and operational execution.

Performs and/or leads due diligence activities to ensure the consistency of information provided by potential acquisition targets. Coordinates efforts and collaborates with multiple functional teams such as Financial, Legal, Human Resources, Sales and Operations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business, risks and opportunities. 

Identifies risks and issues related to integration planning, timeliness and functional areas. Formulates mitigation plans for integration. Works with integration team involving representatives from across the organization. 

Interacts and collaborates with senior internal and external functional personnel on significant matters in converting strategic interest intent into the identification, engagement, diligence and execution of transactions. Prepares and presents management findings that clearly articulate deal aspects. 


Basic Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics or related field preferred

•Five or more years experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, corporate development, analytical or related role

•Experience working with a global organization of size, scope and complexity

•Experience working with technology and/or services intensive business

•Experience working with industry services and offerings as well as emerging markets

•Experience working with international best market practices and global trends in represented entity

Technical Skills

Back-office integration and/or experience

Desktop/IT Support experience

Hardware/Software inventory management experience

TelephonyNetwork (LAN/WiFi)

Audio Visual & Conferencing 

Vendor management 

IT integration experience

Candidate must be very familiar with IT operations and support having worked in this environment extensively.
