The team of Strategic Client Business Managers is chartered with providing world-class service and creative, effective marketing solutions to solve the digital marketing needs of our direct clients (Top 100 advertisers) as well as our independent premium agencies and resellers.

Reporting into the Commercial Sales Director Germany, this is an extremely important role within Oath’s sales team. This role offers the opportunity of joining a dynamic and energetic sales team. You will play a pivotal role in the revenue generating capacity of Oath. Your role will be leading a team with the goal to maximize revenue coming into Oath from Strategic Clients and Independent Agencies. We are looking for a high-caliber individual that can work within a business in need of both Key Account management and development.

What You’ll be doing

  • Responsible for driving the overall revenue quota of the principal for our Strategic Client Business function (Top 100 Advertisers) as well as independent agencies and resellers in the DACH market in alignment with the Account teams

  • Manage a growing team of Strategic Client Business Manager by driving revenue and the growth across all lines of digital advertising revenue across all Oath products

  • Understand the ability of the team to deliver against targets and to present a convincing solution to the clients. In addition to have a clear plan on how to continue success with the team and development of key individuals

  • Actively partners with the Heads of Trading and Agency Development, Head of Account Management, Head of RYOT Studios and other functional leads to develop strategies to unlock inactive advertiser spend and grow share of wallet

  • Able to develop, present and promote solutions that achieve Strategic Client business objectives across the German market

  • Driving, building and maintaining Senior stakeholder relationships with the CMOs and Head of Media of our direct client business

  • Developed relationships with your team’s contacts within the agencies and with a set of blue chip company Marketing spenders so you can ultimately become a trusted touch point if issues need escalating to a level higher than the Strategic Client Business managers


What You’ll Need!

  • Proven track record in working successful as Director for a Media agency or as Senior (Digital Marketing) Executive for a bluechip company or as a Head of Sales working for a Media Sales house

  • A successful track record of managing and developing high performance teams with proven leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment

  • Immediately able to leverage his/her existing network within media agencies/vertical client environment to help Oath to generate revenue and explore new client relationship thru agency contacts and directly. Relationship on C-Level or Head of Media level are key to be successful.

  • Ability to grow new revenue lines

  • Candidate must have sound Online Advertising knowledge by being familiar with:

    • Solution Selling,

    • Video Strategies,

    • Branded Entertainment/Content

    • as well as programmatic knowledge

  • Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic

  • Candidate must have strong relationship-building skills - both internal and external

  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills and an ability to manage and forecast revenue

  • Educated to Degree Level or similar

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in German and English
