Engineer with experience building analytical systems in Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hbase, or similar distributed systems programming. You will improve the scalability, flexibility, and stability of our existing Hadoop architecture as well as help develop our next generation data analytics platform. You will rapidly create prototypes and quickly iterate to a stable, production-quality release candidate.

Experience or desire to work in agile & collaborative environment.
Good communication skills, work well on a team.
Relentlessly resourceful and scrappy; you thrive in an early stage environment
Expert in C, C++, or Java.
Experience with source code control (SVN or Mercurial).
Strong desire to learn new technologies rapidly and evaluate them critically.
Fluent in shell scripting.
Fluent in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Perl.
Experience with Apache Hadoop and Pig.
Experience with Vertica or other column-oriented database.
Experience in Amazon EC2.
