B2B Marketing Manager, UK & Multinational

The B2B Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of trade communications, content, events, campaigns and partnerships for both the UK and the multi-market sales teams across advertiser and publisher audiences. The role is to position AOL as a leading media technology company, covering all of AOL’s business products available in the UK including O&O, Video, and Platforms.
You will be the day-to-day contact for all B2B marketing planning, deliverables and initiatives. You must have a thorough knowledge of the UK advertising market, its trends and be able to articulate where AOL fits in. You will manage all industry relationships, our in-market presence via major industry programs, proprietary activations, and product launches – in sum, all the B2B go to market activity and messaging.
Messaging and positioning
Define and develop AOL’s B2B messaging in the UK trade market
Work with global teams and local leadership to create our positioning, key messaging and story in market
Create integrated marketing plans that span client communication, media, events and measure against ROI for 3-5 major initiatives per year
Through thought leadership, push AOL’s B2B messaging in the UK trade market (advertisers and publishers) and package relevant content for the key Multinational markets
Client Engagement/Events - Lead on major industry tent poles in the UK
Research Marketing Campaigns
New launches and b2b campaigns
Manage the Marketing Coordinator and their responsibilities
- Manage all campaigns and projects to budget
4+ years’ Trade/B2B Marketing experience in digital advertising
Proven track record of developing integrated marketing programs including messaging, content, strategy, and execution
Thorough understanding of the digital advertising and programmatic landscape
Fearless, authentic and resilient characteristics
Previous experience working in an environment of constant change and ambiguity
Experience in content marketing and thought leadership programming
Strong interpersonal, negotiating and diplomatic skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts
Self starter and demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline
