Strategic Project Manager- Software- REMOTE

Summary / Role Purpose

The Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Global Partnerships team manages and tracks progress on strategic projects and maintains awareness of and meets our commitments across our hyperscaler agreements, strategic ISV relationships, integration of acquisitions, and important technology partner workflows. The Strategic Project Manager will work with key partner stakeholders including partner managers and external partners as well as field, product and industry marketing managers. Throughout the lifecycle of each project, the manager tracks project status while mitigating issues and risks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects across the Global Partnerships team that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Connect the big picture between projects and the Global Partnership/Corporate Development team goals
  • Lead the creation of project-specific deliverables, managing team contributions, and providing overall quality control
  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Develop and accurately track project budgets and performance metrics, implementation strategies and required analytics
  • Identify, assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
  • Create status reports for leadership outlining progress of project activities as well as potential challenges and risks
  • Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of five years project management experience in managing projects and/or small programs in a large operating environment
  • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and management of on time project delivery involving cross-functional teams
  • Experienced in partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and address project issues
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations, and proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Sound business and technical acumen

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in technical or software company preferred
