BABE Wine is seeking a Trade Manager to join our fast-growing team. Our company is an energetic place with highly-connected employees - we're not your typical wine company. Now with the backing of Anheuser-Busch, we have big ambitions and are looking for a dynamic individual who can lead the creation and development of channel strategy and brand retail programming for BABE.

In this highly cross-functional role, s/he will develop collateral in partnership with the BABE marketing team and oversee the cascade of the brand strategy, ensuring buy-in and understanding down to the field sales level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use shopper, category, and occasion insights to develop customer and consumer connected solutions in brand retail programming.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop below the line programming calendar ensuring adherence to trimester and chain planning cycles.
  • Establish and cascade standards for best in class canned wine category execution, ensuring that brand campaigns are always translated through the line.
  • Develop and cascade execution playbooks to ensure channel and brand strategy is executed in the field.
  • Create and implement cross-merchandising partnerships to develop dual-category solutions and enhance brand purpose.
  • Drive sales volume through sell in and customization of creative promotional solutions and retail hooks while maintaining brand image and connection to the consumer.
  • Work closely with chain teams to develop custom channel brand programs to deliver high execution and lift result.
  • Manage collaboration of internal and external team from project inception to in-market execution of retail programming that delivers profitable sales results.
  • Provide analysis and gather feedback on brand programming and competitive activity for continuous improvement.


  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • 5-7 years of sales and marketing experience
    • Strong communication skills both external and internal, required
    • Excellent cross-functional collaborator
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and internal system tools, required
    • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of beverage / consumer goods industry
    • Wine experience preferred
