Director, Business Cycle & Planning

The Director, Business Cycle & Planning for AB ONE, Anheuser-Busch Sales & Distribution Company (ABSD) leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and strategic analysis for the financial team. This role focuses on reviewing and analyzing results, developing insightful suggestions for investment, cost reduction, and efficiencies and influences strategic business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual Budget Cycle process considering all P&L lines (from Gross Sales to EBITDA), working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including the Anheuser-Busch corporate Financial Planning team, key P&L package owners, and controller teams
  • Manage the internal monthly Business Cycle, including Latest Estimate (LE), Division & National Performance reviews, and Monthly routine management meetings
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Sr. Management on how to improve company performance via standardized reporting and ad hoc methods
  • Be a key player in developing 10-year company plan and ensuring proper cascade of financial goals and targets to local Divisions
  • Oversee team of Finance Managers that report via dotted line to this role, based locally in our 10 wholesale Divisions across the United States
  • Align between all functions involved in Business Cycle (especially GMs, Sales, Finance, Sales Intelligence) and coordinate programs and actions needed to implement business initiatives to drive efficiencies
  • Build the Financial expertise across the organization, including trainings, cascading of proper KPIs (for local Divisions), hosting of "Finance Workshops" and ensuring proper skills of local teams
  • Provide ad hoc support to Divisions teams & other functions to help them meet and exceed their budgeted financial targets and continually improve margins
  • Manage strategy and usage for all financially oriented tools used by the organization, including VIP, iDig, PowerBI, SAP, COGNOS, Anaplan, etc, and ensure data integrity and accuracy

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related analytical field preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of business experience in financial / analytical role within FMCG managing multi-site operations
  • At least 5 years of prior financial planning / management experience preferred. Previous role in commercial finance highly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large multi-site operations organization
  • Results-oriented leader with proven track record of implementing financial strategies and delivering sustainable results
  • Strong financial analysis skills: You effortlessly track, analyze, and translate data to compelling stories that drive business decisions
  • Strong communicator: You understand which interpersonal muscles to flex from presenting to executives/MANCOM to collaborating with business partners to drive change management
  • Highly proficient using financial analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc... Knowledge of Anaplan, VIP iDig, SAP, COGNOS, systems a plus
