ROLE SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to help drive cross-functional transformation of planning and performance management leveraging Anaplan and other cloud planning tools. You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of business processes and problems while building tech products that foster better collaboration and integration between functional areas. The product will enable the company to take more data-driven, objective decisions, in a more efficient and agile manner.

The cloud planning engineer will sit within BeerTech, a new team inside Anheuser-Busch which operates like a startup. BeerTech is responsible for building digital products that are a competitive advantage to our business. This person will be very hands-on serving as an Anaplan SME and play a key role in enabling broader enterprise performance management across Anheuser Busch.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Partner with business and technical leads to diagnose existing processes, identify areas of improvement, and convert various business-planning use cases into Anaplan applications
  • Own existing Anaplan models working closely with business leads to drive efficiencies and develop model enhancements
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and monitor data flows between internal data systems and Anaplan ensuring data is timely and accurate
  • Serve as an Anaplan SME within the broader development team being able to speak to Anaplan best practices from prior experiences
  • Work closely with the Product Lead in shaping the long-term Anaplan roadmap by identifying new use cases, exploring new features, and instilling solution development standards
  • Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, formulas, pages, actions, and other model settings with minimal direction
  • Prepare documentation and train end users


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with preference in areas of Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems
  • 1 - 5 years of related experience working with digital transformations and implementing EPM systems
    • At least one year of experience working directly with Anaplan
  • Anaplan certifications (Level 2+ preferred)

Nice to Haves

  • Experience leveraging Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
  • Experience building or working with Data Hubs
  • Experience with API tools (Cloudworks, MuleSoft, etc.)
  • Experience with agile project management tools (Azure Dev Ops, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
