CADD Designer - Capex

  • Understand and follow AB CAD standards
  • Understand and follow AB EDS standards (Engineering Documentation Standards)
  • Scan drawing mark-ups to PDFs
  • Create and run CAD plots for C Size and E Size Plotters
  • Change paper and ink cartridges in C Size and E Size Plotters
  • Assist in CAD Drafting for As-Builting of existing drawings
  • Assist in CAD Drafting for Scoping and Final Design project work (2D & 3D)
  • Assist Brewery teams with drawing searches in Falcon
  • Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards




Job Qualifications

  • AAS or AS in Drafting Technology degree from a technical school college or three years' experience working in the industry (Drafting Certificate with work experience).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software. Preferably Bentley Microstation CAD software knowledge.
  • Basic working knowledge of these disciplines which includes, design, creation, and red-line edits of the following:
    • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
    • Electrical Control and Panel Design
    • Structural Design
    • Civil Design
    • Mechanical and Packaging Design
  • 3D CAD Modelling experience for multi-discipline models and drawings preferred.
  • Math skilled including - Geometry, Algebra and basic Trigonometry
  • Ability to take and understand directions of design and work at fast pace if needed. Proactive self-starter with limited supervision. Ability to handle multiple work tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail is a must. Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to pass a basic CAD drawing test.
