About the Team
Our mission is to make better decisions faster by leveraging data.
We accomplish that mission by working cross-functionally at Andela to collect data and understand our business processes in order to enable analysis of the underlying systems. Additionally, we democratize data access for all Andelans so that they can answer the questions most important to them.
About the Role
Your job is to help us to craft and answer questions that we don’t yet know how to answer in order to drive our overall strategy. Some of these questions are about testing the decisions we have made. Such as, how does the current curriculum compare to previous versions of it? Others are about more forward-looking decisions. Questions like, what makes the most ideal developer?
Answering these and other things will require you to work collaboratively with department leads in Success, Learning, and Talent. Oftentimes the data being collected to help answer these questions is not done with an eye to scale, and your job will be to ensure that the data we collect aligns with how our business operates today, and how it should run tomorrow.
More than that though, you will be vital in driving the entire company toward a data-first culture, and ensuring that we are making decisions not just quickly, but with confidence that a more knowable truth is supporting that decision.
