Our Supplementals business unit is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst, who would do the following:

  • Commercialization: support the Senior Director, Supplementals in implementing a go-to-market strategy for Amplify Supplementals (perform pricing research and analysis, implement pricing, continuously evaluate the competitive landscape for trends and growth opportunities)
  • Cross-supplemental development: drive communication across teams to share best practices
  • Business Analysis
    • Work with Senior Director, Supplementals to develop annual budget and mid-year reforecast
    • Analyze financials and work with other departments to track monthly P&L against budget/reforecast for Supplementals
    • Build financial models to analyze major strategic decisions
    • Analyze and distribute valuable and actionable data on product adoption
    • Perform customer research as needed
  • Operations
    • Support the business's conversion and renewal strategy
    • Design systems to track trends in student and educator needs
    • Liaise with Product, Marketing, Support and Sales to achieve business goals

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years in an analytic role
  • Experience developing budgets and writing business plans

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Financial modeling and analysis skills: you can translate a business question into a financial model, you're conversant in financial reports, and quick to translate reams of information into high-level insight
  • Attention to detail: you can zoom into the details, and take pride in producing accurate, thorough work
  • Curiosity, logic, and structure: you tear through cloudy, amorphous business questions - identifying the decision that needs to be made, and the data needed to make it
  • Entrepreneurial inclinations: you enjoy taking initiative and digging into difficult business problems
  • Finesse at getting things done in complex organizations: you can communicate well with a diverse set of stakeholders and build consensus across different teams with varying goals
