Description & Responsibilities :

This position serves as the Chief of Staff reporting directly to the VP and Head of Card Fraud Risk and is an integral member of the leadership team.

The role offers the exciting opportunity to learn various aspects of the fraud risk management function. They will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with world class fraud risk managers and learn about various attack vectors and how a combination of models, strategy, capabilities, and servicing come together to combat these threats.

The incumbent's key responsibilities will include:
  • Working with the functional leaders to align organizational priorities, drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, and ensure delivery against financial targets
  • Developing communications and presentation materials for executive-level audiences
  • Supporting risk governance, oversight, and audit functions as well as regulatory affairs
  • Planning line-of-business reviews, staff meetings, employee town halls
  • Partnering with Human Resources to implement talent management programs - recruitment, training and development, employee recognition, compensation, and retention
  • Interacting effectively with employees at all levels in the organization to strengthen team culture, continuously improve the work environment, and identify and resolve issues
  • Directing department-wide administrative functions, including operating expense management
  • Special analytical projects and portfolio monitoring

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will possess;

  • Adaptable interpersonal skills, high energy, and a proven team-first mentality
  • Impeccable integrity required for handling confidential information
  • Rigorous and analytical approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization
  • Intellectual curiosity and learning agility needed to explore and evaluate new ideas
  • Extensive experience leading project management
  • Ability to work autonomously and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a Credit or Fraud Risk Management role
  • [ Preferred ] Advanced degree in statistics, econometrics, operations research, mathematics, computer programming, data science, engineering, or a related quantitative field of study
  • Prior business consulting experience will be a plus
