Amazon Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, delivering more than 150,000 titles on-demand from the cloud to Internet-connected PCs, Macs and TVs. We are seeking a Catalog Specialist for the Amazon Video partner relations management team. The core mission of our team is to continually expand the selection of movie and TV content available to customers of the Video platform, through successful management of video supply chain operations. In order to continuously drive and improve execution of this core mission, a Catalog Specialist on this team will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders in engineering, product management, and operations in addition to working with external content providers on improving overall catalog quality and selection.

Catalog Specialist Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Execution of various tasks related to successful publication of video content
  • Lead selection projects to identify quality or selection issues and drive resolution
  • Maintain SLAs for high-priority content on an ongoing basis
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively; strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Maintain/Contribute to SOPs
  • Contribute to process improvements initiatives to optimize for cost, quality, and speed

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience
  • Detail-oriented and customer obsessed
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes quickly
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships, and influence other teams to meet goals
  • Hyper-organized and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Amazon Video services
  • Experience/familiarity with: Amazon Video product, JIRA, Sharepoint, Excel, basic math/analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain desired
  • Serious passion for Movies and Television
  • Desired technical skills: Knowledge of Tableau/data visualization, Basic SQL, Web Programming languages, HTML, CSS
  • Fluency in German or Japanese languages a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
