DESCRIPTION

Amazon Games is seeking a UX Designer to join the New World team. New World is an MMORPG where players fight for survival as they conquer the mysterious island of Aeternum. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering world class UX for video games or live services.
In this role, this UX Designer will work collaboratively with other UX Designers and partner with design teams across the studio to craft amazing experiences for New World players.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in delivering design solutions as a UX designer, interaction designer, or UI artist
  • Proficient in designing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • Portfolio that demonstrates your proficiency


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in designing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • Experience designing UX for multiplayer games or live services
  • Background in graphic design and/or motion design
  • Experience with game engines, scripting languages, and tools
  • Ability to work independently, define design requirements, and prioritize tasks
