DESCRIPTION
The AWS Worldwide Revenue Operations (WWRO) team is looking for a passionate and innovative leader to manage and scale our greater data environment. WWRO data-driven solutions enable users to obsess over customers and make proactive plans and recommendations that position AWS as a strategic business partner in addition to a world-class cloud computing provider.
The successful candidate will possess a strong program management background, have a passion for innovating, have a well-rounded technical background in current software and/or hardware disciplines, be comfortable with ambiguity and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
We are looking for a strong technical, customer-focused Principal Technical Program Manager. In this role you will:
• Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary teams to drive WWRO data capabilities.
• Drive technical requirements, design, and delivery planning, working across engineering and science teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful launch of new data initiatives.
• Find opportunities to apply innovation across different customers, driving technology advances in core platforms.
• Influence roadmap data priorities, features, and process working across multiple WWRO teams.
• Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams and building sustainable processes.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and be motivated by a fast-paced, highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
• History of teamwork, strong bias for action, and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience solving large scale problems
• Comfortable with ambiguity and be motivated by a fast-paced, highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
• History of teamwork, strong bias for action, and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
