TAX MANAGER - AMAZON
Location: Bratislava
Amazon EU seeks a Tax Manager to support its European business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser. Primary duties include:
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses
- Effectively business partner to ensure business activities are consistent with the group´s European legal and operational structure
- Analyze application of complex tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders
- Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks.
Base pay for this position starts from 3 141 EUR gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of international income tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience of working with European tax laws
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in taxation, law or accounting and/or Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- A second European language
