The Role:

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. This specific role requires expertise knowledge in mechanical design, development and quality of products. In this role, you will be working with our ODM suppliers and internal cross functional teams to:

  • Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements about PD solutions
  • Apply PD technical expertise to problem solving throughout product lifecycle
  • Identify and initiate investigations of production technologies, prototype and test solutions for product features, and design and validate production designs that deliver an exceptional user experience
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, with expertise in material, tooling, and systems integration
  • Manage interaction with overseas resources (with ODM suppliers)
  • Manage schedules and milestones

Candidates must show a hands-on passion for their work and be able to communicate their ideas and concepts both verbally and visually. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to integrate feedback and to respond quickly to changing contexts and work environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • ยท Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in mechanical design or PD program management
  • 5+ years of experience in product validation (Shock/Drop, Cycle Testing, Environmental Testing)
  • 7+ years of experience with 3D CAD skills, ProEngineer
  • Experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
  • Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection
  • Demonstrable experience in project management and coordinating/driving release schedules

  • Master's or advanced technical degree
  • Creative leader with superior analytical abilities
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of hardware development process and lifecycle
  • Mandarin language skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of tooling and materials process validation (SPC, Cp, CpK)
