Summary Description

Want to play a key role in aggressively growing Amazon's Kindle Digital Device Team in China? We are seeking a talented recruiter who will take a direct and immediate impact on our ability to source and hire the brightest talent in order to grow and scale Amazon's Kindle digital organizations based in China.

The organization will continue to grow aggressively, so bringing top talents to our hardware supply chain Organizations is a key management goal. The Recruiter will be responsible for working with Leadership in both China and Global, hiring managers to identify overall staffing needs & talent requirements, developing strategies to meet aggressive overall hiring goals through creative sourcing strategies. Strong partnership with HR Business Partner, Compensation & Benefits team, other recruiting teams will be essential to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business in order to deeply understand teams' organization structure, responsibilities, strengths/weaknesses and key business drivers. Utilize this information to develop most effective recruiting strategies.
• Proactive sourcing: Initiate and maintain a network of contacts to help identify qualified candidates for hiring needs. Help drive all sourcing channels actively, including employee referrals, utilization of vendors, etc.
• Use the recruiting process to drive the most effective and targeted recruiting strategies to impact business success, including guidance on job descriptions, levels, interview loops and candidate sourcing strategy.
• Active participation in the full cycle of recruitment efforts, including emphasis on the ability of assessment skills to help evaluating candidates and ensuring the highest bar.
• Lead final assessment and selection process.
• In charge of the offer proposal and negotiation process.
• Manage the data associated with the recruitment process.
• Manage/Monitor/Maintain the Headcount status.
• Emphasis on continuous improvement, as such it is expected that you will spend time to ensure ongoing education of hiring managers and interviews on recruitment "best practice" and interview skills training.
• Implement the recruitment tools/systems in China base on the guidance from HQ.
• Assist the Recruiting Manager to complete the important Staffing projects as needed.Summary Description

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years's previous experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to both think strategically and execute plans.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Able to understand business requirements and frame these requirements in such a way that technical and operational solution can be developed for the highest impact.
• Demonstrated drive to set and achieve aggressive goals while not compromising on the quality of the work.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills (including database analysis and Excel skills).
• Excellent organization skills, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and to evolve in an ambiguous environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Passion for customers and high attention to details.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or master degree.
• Experience working in a medium to high volume, high hiring-bar environment ideally with fast moving high tech companies experience.
• Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to liaise with senior management both within the business and HR groups.
• Knowledge of other fields of HR is a plus.
