We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Program Manager II (Sr. PM), Global Consumer Retail AP Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to manage the integration of our newly acquired companies into Amazon Global Retail Accounts Payable. Your primary role will be to onboard new Amazon subsidiaries on day one of acquisition, along with setting up programs to monitor and measure ongoing AP success. You will work with stakeholders throughout Amazon to deliver high quality, capable AP solutions. You will collaborate with various Amazon stakeholders to deliver best subsidiary experience with the most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit. This role manages the AP Global Consumer Retail M&A roadmap. This high-visibility role will require collaborating with FinOps teams in defining solutions in collaboration with multiple business, supply chain and technical teams across the company.
The ideal candidate will have excellent program management, problem solving and communication skills and effective interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate will be at ease dealing with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be motivated by a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. This means you are not only able to drive high-level strategic initiatives while staying on top of tactical execution, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
Successful candidates will have Accounts Payable experience, exceptional business judgement including financial acumen to quickly assess the viability of key decisions. You have the ability to write compelling business cases quantifying improvements in KPIs measuring vendor experience and operational execution. The ability to work in a global matrix organization, across functions, and at all levels will be absolutely critical to success in this role. You should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing customer centric solutions.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with a multiyear Merger & Acquisition roadmap prioritizing programs and operational capabilities to deliver P2P supply chain solutions for Amazon's growing Global Consumer Retail business.
• Clearly communicate roadmap vision and timelines to deliver core capabilities with associated customer or business benefits to Sr Leaders across business, operations and technical teams.
• Responsible for working in a program team in collecting and documenting business/product requirements and collaborating with technical teams on design options and trade-offs.
• Work in a cross-functional team in collaboration with upstream business, operations and technology teams to build integrated end-to-end AP technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Product or Program management working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams defining and delivering technical solutions to business operations and/or to external suppliers or customers.
• Experience in the full product development cycle from ideation, to gathering and documenting business / product requirements, working with technical teams in an Agile development environment.
• Demonstrated ability to document and quantify business case for technical investments illustrating operational benefits or defining measurable improvements to customer experience.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity projects.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems, showing a track record of making business decisions using relevant data and insights.
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically; equally comfortable with long term planning and day to day progress tracking and execution.
• Ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management
• 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Product or Program management working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity projects.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems, showing a track record of making business decisions using relevant data and insights.
• Ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or Master's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Technology.
