The Global Talent Movement Team is looking for a bright, customer obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to inspect current processes, identify pain points and inefficiencies, and develop short and long term solutions to optimize. As a Program Manager in GTM, your work will impact all employees, in all regions, and in all businesses working at Amazon and subsidiaries. The Sr. Program manager will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize, and invent mechanisms and programs that scale. The Sr. Program Manager will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as program, and product to drive the efficiency and quality of our talent movement tools and processes.

Core responsibilities of the role include autonomously driving org level initiatives and partnerships, inspection and continuous improvement of the process steps and systems utilized to identify efficiencies that enable scale. Define and build rigorous signaling mechanisms to prioritize and drive critical change for Amazon, while bringing key stakeholders along the journey. As new programs are established, you will examine and propose improved process designs, and help to define the future of how Amazon leverages its global workforce across all divisions and roles. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive process improvement and scale for Amazon's talent mechanisms.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate on-going curiosity and creativity, balanced with the ability to distill numerous inputs/ideas into meaningful actions and recommendations. This person must have strong analytical capabilities and a process improvement mentality. You must be able to interface effectively and communicate convincingly with leaders at all levels, including the executive leadership team. You will demonstrate the ability to work well and influence strategically in both small team and large, cross-functional environments. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing thought leadership to and influencing change at all levels in the organization. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
• 5+ years of experience in program or project management
• 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine and implement processes, procedures, and policies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and challenge conventional wisdom.
