Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS's most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Windows Server and SQL Server applications running on EC2, you will have the opportunity to lead product marketing for Microsoft workloads. You will be responsible for leading our positioning and messaging to customers, creating compelling content to drive awareness for Amazon Web Services as a proven platform for running Windows, and building the programs and campaigns to increase awareness and adoption. You will get to work on a growing, high profile business and have a strategic impact on our business planning and growth strategy for Microsoft portfolio on AWS.

Strong preference for this position to be in Seattle WA or San Francisco/ Bay Area CA, but open to near any Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office only. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Own the value propositions and messaging strategies for driving adoption of Windows Server and SQL Server workloads on AWS
• Work with engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages
• Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, how to guides etc.) that land multi-channel
• Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioning
• Own web strategy and AWS owned marketing channels including social, on-network promotion, events, and emails
• Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management
• 5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products
• Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background
• 10+ years of product marketing experience
• Experience with launching new and disruptive services
• Experience with Windows Server and/or SQL Server or database applications

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 116,100 - 160,000/ yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
