Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS's most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive marketing strategies for one of the largest and most recognized AWS services. You will be responsible for defining our positioning and messaging for our compute offerings powered by our processor partners such as Intel and AMD. Your primary focus will be developing narratives around the benefits of processor choice and messaging and positioning in collaboration with our processor partners for areas such as machine learning, migrations, and enterprise applications. You will create compelling content to help customers understand our joint use cases and value propositions, and integrate this content into the right AWS field and partner marketing programs across the globe, to drive customer engagement, customer acquisition, and service adoption. You will also work with the engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You'll get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.

Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with AWS and partner engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits for upcoming compute instances powered by our processor partners into product marketing messages.
• Engage with AWS field and partner marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement and product adoption focused marketing programs.
• Own the development of joint value propositions and messaging for AWS and our processor partners such as Intel and AMD.
• Craft & develop compelling audience-specific messages as well as presentations, customer success stories, and videos.
• Develop and execute on AWS and/or partner-led breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
• Work with sales to ready our general and specialized sales teams on our joint value propositions and messaging.
• Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences (analysts, customers, AWS session and and/or third-party public events) on AWS and joint partner messaging for our compute portfolio
• Collaborate with other AWS service teams (machine learning, databases, migrations, etc..) to develop cross-portfolio joint partner messaging and content.

Position may be located in Seattle WA or Palo Alto CA. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations only.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management
• 5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products
• Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background
• 5+ year's experience in product marketing
• Experience with cloud and data center infrastructure technologies
