We are the Omni-Channel Customer Analytics and Modeling (OCCAM) team, and we serve the Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing teams.

And 3) we create data products like customer segments and propensity models. We invent in undefined spaces in customer behavior. We have the privilege and the responsibility of having an outsized influence with our business partners.

About You
You want to make changes that help millions of customers. You don't want to make something 10% better as a part of an enormous team. Rather, you want to innovate with a small community of passionate peers. You have experience in analytics, reporting, machine learning/AI, and big data, and a desire to learn more about these subjects. You want a trusted role in strategy and product design. You put the customer first in your thinking. You have great problem solving skills. You research the latest data technologies and use them to help you innovate and keep costs low. You have great judgment and communication skills, and a history of delivering results.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop a portfolio of customer obsessed segmentation, measurement, and reporting initiatives. Clarify for the OCCAM team and the org (up to senior leadership) why we have prioritized this portfolio of initiatives on behalf of our diverse customer base.

• Define the strategy, prioritization, and business design for strategic initiatives for the team. In some cases, identify unsolved problems among our large stakeholder and customer base, and propose initiatives to solve them.

• Lead the cross-functional effort between data personnel and stakeholders to deliver those initiatives with limited guidance or complete independence.

• Handle complex product development and business management scenarios, align stakeholders, and make smart trade-offs (time vs. effort vs. features). In some cases, own launch coordination.

• Drive product discussions (e.g. vision, goals, tenets, roadmap, narratives, MBR/QBR, status) with executive representatives. Contribute to planning mechanisms up to senior leadership level. Create documentation or training materials, and help drive adoption for completed initiatives.

• Establish/simplify team processes to ensure each product meets customer needs, such as roadmap prioritization, product lifecycle management, and audit mechanisms.
