Sr. Product Manager - Technical

DESCRIPTION

Ring is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager possessing a balance of security and technical product management skills to join our Security Product Team. In this senior role, you will work with both technical and non-technical cross-functional teams and stakeholders to advance strategy, create new features, develop requirements, and plan for dependencies. You will also interpret, communicate, and drive the full product development lifecycle. Additionally, you will work with Technical Program Management and Engineering teams to implement, maintain, and execute features and services related to security and privacy.

Responsibilities:
• Develop product requirements for security and privacy features, including user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and metrics.
• Conduct analyses to determine the competitive landscape for security features.
• Work with the design team, legal team, and other relevant stakeholders to refine and align on features.
• Work with technical program managers, engineering teams, and QA teams to ensure delivery and execution of features.
• Work with marketing, PR, legal, customer support, operations, and other stakeholders to communicate upcoming features and participate in go-to-market planning and execution.
• Conduct security and privacy reviews of available and upcoming product features.
• Work with the security and privacy teams to implement new processes, programs, and features.
• Write documents that communicate your strategy to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of Information Security and/or privacy experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Experience generating automated metrics to measure IT security effectiveness and consistency.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services security.
• Experience analyzing large data sets.
• Experience driving large scale enterprise projects as a Technical Program Manager.
• Experience working in industry standards groups.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Technical knowledge in multiple security domain areas such as authentication and authorization, security protocols, applications, and system and network security.
• Knowledge of privacy frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis, and making complex risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and suggest detailed solutions.
• Solid foundation in software design and engineering principles.
